This is my first Christie Novel I have read, yes I know! But, I have watched many adaptations on the television of her works, but never this one.
Recently my Daughter watched it, then purchased the book and a few of my friends had mentioned it. I wanted to see what I was missing out on, and read the book before seeing as a film.
It is an easy read, not very long.
Set back in the late 1930's, it had a feel of historical, but as it was set on an Island, where no one inhabited it I didn't get too much into the dating of the read.
It was the atmospheric and murder, mystery that we are brought, which Christie was renowned for. I absolutely loved it, it isn't a long read, and I could have easily read it in one sitting, but took my time over the weekend to read it.
The array of characters, backgrounds and how they were duped to be on the Island kept me invested as well as I had no clue as to who was the murderer, fully why, or how it was all pulled off.
An excellent read of its time and for now. A clever, clever killer within the mix of Then There Were None.
Highly recommend, and can see why Christie is known as the Queen of Crime.
