I hadn't realised I had read Lynda's previous books as she writes women's fiction, with a touch or two of humour.
So when I found out that she had written a psychological thriller, I was interested to see how this would work, and boy did it.
It is one chilling tale with everything required in a psychological thriller, twists, turns, great characters to dislike, feel sorry for, have a touch of humanity and angst...as well as the unreliable narrator.
There are also very few characters in this book, which gives it more of an anxious feel as you are reading it and you truly are drawn into the lives of Clare and Sharni.
With their own back stories and feelings for why they are helping each other or need help.
It is chilling, with a stalker single white female feel to it...and I loved it. I shall be looking out for more creepy tales by Lynda.
