I didn't necessarily warm to Paige straight off, she is a mess, a total mess. What got her there was the death of her child, with no way of knowing how or why. Then her husband is dead. Where do you go from there to get answers?
The premise, and start of the book was amazing, a gripping page turner of a book.
I was ready to rave and rave some more about it, then I read part two....which blindsided me and I was still wowed.
However I found it slightly lacking, and quick. The suspense wasn't kept up, and although well described etc...it felt a bit short. Then part three was or felt even shorter.
This had such, such potential to be an amazing story, with a great storyline. I feel if it had been a more in depth second part, and a few more explanations in part three.
do feel the book is worth a read, and that the author knows how to shock, and deliver a great idea for a story, it would for me have benefited being longer.
