I really enjoyed Tana's first book in this series, Robbing the Dead.
The storyline evolving with the main characters in this book was so well thought out, Fletcher is battling her own demons and finding work difficult for various reasons.
The setting and main storyline in this book was cracking in detail, depth and suspense. Which I absolutely loved. I found it an intricate, but easy read, that I couldn't put down. I was right there trying to solve the puzzle that was unfolding.
There was a great deal of thought that went into the plot, and it showed within the writing and the way the characters wove together, as well as a creepy edgy feel to it all.
This is Tartan Noir at it's criminal best, and I really feel that this book has set the pace for Tana and looking forward to see what is coming next!
