The cover of this book literally send shivers down my spine...If I saw it on the shelf it would be calling me to pick it up, and wonder how cold Alice really is.
How do you feel about rooting for a killer? Especially one as accomplished as Alice? She is a hunter, killing abusive spouses, does this make you feel she is more justified?
IS she as cold hearted as she displays, and what motivated her to be the ruthless huntress she is?
These were the questions that I was asking myself when reading Ice Cold Alice
This is a spine chilling, unique story and is full of challenging insights.
Alice is sharp, intellectual as is D.I. Kathy McQuire who is hot on her tail.
The plot is extremely impressive and I for one was mesmerised by the intense nature of Alice, Wilson has created a masterful and powerful read, but keeping Alice as cold as she is engaging, so the reader can identify and empathise with her.
I literally couldn't put this book down, it was such an amazing read. Alice had me hooked into her life. There is so much I would love to explain, but honestly read it for yourself. This book deserves High Praise.
Ice Cold Alice is going into my All Time Favourite reads I just loved it, it was riveting, clever, suspenseful and brilliant, and I am hoping we see more from Wilson soon.
